Беларуский диктатор строит из себя защитника простых людей. В 1994 году он шёл на единственные в истории Беларуси выборы, обещая людям стабильные работу и зарплату.
Но история доказала: хорошо живут те народы, которые не надеются на доброту властей и сами добиваются своих целей. Европейские социальные гарантии и высокое качество жизни граждан ЕС — это результат десятилетий героической борьбы профсоюзов и левых политических партий за права трудящихся.
Сильные профсоюзы — угроза для диктатора. Поэтому все годы правления Лукашенко независимые профсоюзы находятся под постоянным давлением. Возбуждаются уголовные дела, изымается профсоюзная собственность, активистов вынуждают выходить из профсоюзов под угрозой увольнения. Это война против самоорганизации трудящихся.
Итог закономерен: Беларусь — самая бедная из европейских стран, за исключением недавно воевавших.
Сейчас под ударом Независимый профсоюз горняков ОАО «Беларуськалий». Это один из самых крупных независимых профсоюзов, в нем около 4 000 членов. Только за один день из него были вынуждены уйти 200 человек. Цель властей — полностью уничтожить независимый профсоюз и создать вместо него организацию, полностью подконтрольную руководству.
К сожалению, попытки добиваться справедливости юридическими методами заранее обречены на неудачу. В Беларуси нет независимых судов. Поэтому единственный способ решения этой и всех прочих проблем — это смена антинародной власти на народную.
Мы призываем граждан Беларуси проявить солидарность с Независимым профсоюзом горняков ОАО «Беларуськалий» и быть готовыми участвовать в решении нашей общей проблемы.

Stop the destruction of an independent trade union
Belarusian dictator defines himself as a protector of ordinary people. In 1994, he went to the first and the last presidential elections in the history of Belarus, promising people a stable job and salary.
But history has proved: those societies live well, who do not rely on the kindness of the authorities and themselves achieve their goals. European social guarantees and high quality of life for EU citizens are the result of decades of heroic struggle of trade unions and left political parties for the rights of workers.
Strong unions are a threat to the dictator. Therefore, all the years of Lukashenko’s rule, independent trade unions are under constant pressure. Criminal cases are being brought, trade union property is being withdrawn, activists are being forced to leave the trade unions under the threat of dismissal. This is a war against the self-organization of the working people.
The result is logical: Belarus is the poorest of the European countries, with the exception of those who engaged in warfares.
Now the Independent Trade Union of Miners “Belaruskali” is under attack. It is one of the largest independent trade unions, with about 4,000 members. In just one day, 200 people were forced out of it. The purpose of the belarusian authorities is to completely destroy the independent trade union and create instead an organization completely under the control of the belarusian authorities.
Unfortunately, attempts to seek justice through legal methods are doomed to failure. There are no independent courts in Belarus. Therefore, the only way to solve this and all other problems is a change of the anti-national power to the people’s one.
We call upon the citizens of Belarus and our comrades abroad to show solidarity with the Independent Trade Union of the Miners “Belaruskali” and to be ready to participate in solving our common problem.
